Welcome to the Australian High Commission website. We try to ensure that this site is a useful and informative resource for Australians, Cypriots and others about Australia's wide-ranging interests in Cyprus, and the services which we provide.
Australia has strong people-to-people ties to Cyprus dating back to the 1950s. Both countries concluded social security and working holiday agreements. The Australian-Cypriot community has contributed greatly to Australia's economic prosperity and diverse society. A large Australian community resident in Cyprus likewise makes its contribution to the islands's development. Australia actively supports efforts for reconciliation and reunification in Cyprus, and deploys civilian police peace-keepers to the island. Both our countries share common interests in the United Nations, and both are active members of the Commonwealth.
The Australian High Commission in Nicosia offers a wide range of services, including citizenship, consular, notarial acts, passports and visa.
